The schedule is as follows: Weekly curbside collection of leaf and yard waste begins in April and ends in November. The following holidays delay each district’s collection by a day: New Year’s Day, Dr. Martin Luther King Day, Presidents’ Day, Patriots’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans’ Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Use only paper leaf bags or clean, empty barrels with no lids.
Need a "Yard Waste" sticker for your barrel? Call the DPW at 978-620-3310, Monday through Friday, between 7 AM and 3 PM, minus Massachusetts state holidays.
All materials MUST be out by 7 AM sharp in a neat, orderly manner. All brush must be bundled with cotton rope or twine. No brush longer than 4 feet or wider than 3 inches. No branches or stumps.
NO PLASTIC BAGS. Use of plastic bags is subject to a fine. Use paper leaf bags or clean, open barrels marked "leaf and yard waste."
Monday – South Lawrence West
Tuesday – South Lawrence East plus downtown and Water street area (see map)
Wednesday – Prospect Hill
Thursday – Arlington district
Friday – Tower Hill
Trash and Recycling will still be picked up every Tuesday!!
